Leadership

Frank Carnevale CEO

Over the past two decades, Mr. Frank Carnevale has developed and managed several investments in cleantech and PropTech platforms, including originating over $2.5 billion in transactions in energy and utilities sectors. He previously served as Chief Growth Officer and Chief Operating Officer of a TSXV-listed company delivering design build thermal energy systems, HVAC and Building Controls in Canada. Mr. Carnevale currently serves on the Board of the Canadian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association and previously served on the Executive Board of the Energy Council of Canada among several industry organizations.

Carmine Marcello Advisor

Carmine advises governments, utilities and cleantech startups across the Middle East, North America and the Caribbean. From 2013 to 2015, Carmine served as Chief Executive Officer of Hydro One Inc., one of Canada’s largest transmission and distribution companies, with a market cap of over $20 billion and over $23 billion in assets. He served in numerous executive roles from 2003, including Asset Management and Strategy and Planning.

Mike Sullivan Strategic Consultant

Mr. Sullivan is an energy sector executive with over 35 years in energy infrastructure project and corporate finance related businesses. With experience as CEO and/or CFO in resource extraction, energy processing and renewable energy sectors, Mr. Sullivan has been responsible for over $3 billion capital investment in infrastructure projects that were completed on budget and on schedule. Mr. Sullivan has extensive experience in structured financing vehicles including flow-through share offerings in clean technologies and hydrogen-based opportunities. Mr. Sullivan graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance and Economics.  Mr. Sullivan holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and attended the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto executive programs in advanced financial management and structuring.

Joel Dumaresq CFO

Joel Dumaresq has 30 years of experience in the financial sector, and for the last 12 years he has been the Managing Director of the Vancouver-based private equity firm, Matrix Partners Inc. Mr. Dumaresq also has Oil and Gas executive management experience in United Kingdom, East Africa and Asia, and has been instrumental in raising over $100M for Oil and Gas ventures from public markets and industry farm-downs. He has extensive expertise in mergers and acquisitions and previously worked in a financial and investment banking role with RBC Dominion Securities. He is also the Corporate Secretary, CFO and Director of the Company.

Matthew Fish Director

Mr. Fish is a partner at a boutique corporate and securities law firm that he founded in 2018, focused on advising public companies on corporate and securities law matters, including regulatory compliance, stock exchange listings and risk management. With a broad scope of experience, Mr. Fish focuses on providing legal and strategic advice to technology and resource sector companies. He also acts as counsel on new issues and listings on numerous Canadian stock exchanges and acts as Canadian counsel in cross-border transactions. Mr. Fish sits on boards of several publicly and privately held companies and was called to the Ontario bar in 2012.

Troy Grant Director

Troy Grant, a graduate from Saint Francis Xavier University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree has extensive experience in investment financing, predominantly focusing on raising significant funding across a global platforms and management of strategic operations. For the past 8 years Troy’s career has been dedicated to his role as President with Elcora Advanced Materials. Elcora was founded in 2011 and has been structured to become a vertically integrated battery material company. Elcora can process, refine, and produce battery related minerals and metals. As part of the vertical integration strategy Elcora has developed a cost-effective process to purify high-quality battery metals and minerals that are commercially scalable. This combination means that Elcora has the tools and resources for vertical integration of the battery minerals and metals industry.

Maciej Lis Director

Maciej Lis currently holds interests in various sales, distribution and logistics companies which he helped build over the preceding decade. He has also previously acted in a number of business development roles for both public and private small-cap and mid-cap natural resource and technology sector companies, operating globally. Mr. Lis holds an Honors Degree in Economics from the University of Toronto, and is fluent in 3 languages.
